FOTOKOGU is a photo database and sales service owned and operated by Pelagis Ltd, a company registered in Estonia. FOTOKOGU provides digital images of copyrighted photographs for a one-time use on a non-exclusive non-transferable basis for a fixed fee.

The AUTHORS of the Fotokogu are professional and semi-professional photographers who use the high-quality materials and tools.

The pictures in the Fotokogu follow these four criteria:
- content of the picture is concrete,
- place and time of taking the picture is known,
- the picture is photographically interesting,
- the picture is technically correct.

The images are scanned from original films or produced with digital cameras. We supply the images in two resolutions: a lower resolution of 500 pixels on the long side, and a higher resolution of 2048 pixels on the long side. The images are scanned without any post-processing in order to maintain as much of original visual information as possible. However, while scanning, the ICE function is applied. The images can be emailed to you, placed for downloading via FTP, or sent on CD.

The original photographs belong and are kept by their photographers. We provide only the digital images of the photos. Provided you want to obtain more rights or get other resolutions, or you are interested in the originals of the photographs, please contact us at info@fotokogu.com.
